Hand Rejuvenation

Our hand Rejuvenation procedures have been developed to rejuvenate hands that are starting to show signs of aging. You’ve heard it said before: “Nothing shows your age like your hands”.

The hands age in three significant ways:

1. Over time, the skin on your hands can become frail, lax ,discolored or spotted due to chronic sun damage and aging. These problems are addressed using special lasers that reduce brown and red lesions and tighten the skin.
2. The volume of the skin declines with age leaving a “bony” appearance where the tendons on the back of the hand become more apparent.  Dermal fillers (that are used to treat facial lines and wrinkles such as Radiesse , Restylane ®, Perlane  and Juvéderm ) are injected in small amounts and in precise locations in order to restore the original volume to the skin resulting in a more youthful appearance to the back to your hands. This must be done artistically by Dr. Cadoux in order to attain a natural appearing result.
3. With age the veins on the back of your hands often get more numerous. They also become larger, more distended, and more “blue-green” in appearance. These veins can be reduced or eliminated by Dr. Cadoux using special vein removal techniques.
